Nook by Design

The homeowners wanted to turn an underutilized and cluttered storage attic space into an extra sleeping area for children’s sleepovers. These two window seats are wide enough to accommodate a full-sized mattress so not only can they function as comfortable reading nooks, but they can also serve as additional beds. Custom built drawers below accommodate storage for bed linens when not in use. Ceiling trim details reference the shape of cased openings found throughout the home.
