Built off an existing porch, this addition expanded the home’s entryway to improve flow and daily function. Previously, the front door opened directly onto a staircase, creating a cramped and awkward arrival, with only a small, disorganized mudroom to the side. By setting the front door back, the foyer gained meaningful square footage and a more gracious presence. The mudroom was also enlarged to include a walk-in closet, providing organized storage. The result is an entry sequence that feels intentional, welcoming, and designed to support everyday life.
