Mitchell Construction COVID-19 Update

We are happy to announce that Mitchell Construction is back to work, using enhanced safety protocols issued by Mass DOH and working toward as much normalcy as we can within the new normal.  Having closed our field operations at the outbreak of COVID-19, we have since been providing design, consultation, and inspection services remotely and digitally while developing protocols that would allow us to safely re-open job sites and return to work.

The health and wellbeing of our clients, staff, and communities remains our top priority. We take safety very seriously, and we’re committed to doing everything we can to help everyone through this difficult time.

CLIENTS

• We have been using Zoom and other technologies to work with clients safely and remotely, sharing design ideas, having initial meetings, and making project-related decisions.
   

• We have implemented stringent safety procedures at all job sites, including dedicated Safety Officers, daily personnel logs, exterior handwashing stations, and the compulsory wearing of masks, gloves, and other PPE.
   

• We have sent materials to clients to help them select everything from fixtures to flooring in the comfort of their own homes.
   

• Feel free to call or email about anything, anytime—we’re still open for business even if we’re not in the office.

PEOPLE

• The health and safety of our people—from office staff to field workers—remains our primary focus.
   

• Paid sick leave allows employees to stay at home to take care of themselves and their families.

• Tradesmen/Subcontractors will be scheduled so as not to overlap on any job site to ensure social distancing.
