Do you ever dream of or imagine the perfect home for you and your family? One of the first steps in our design process is to ask our clients for a list of their needs, wants, and wishes for their home. It is a proven discovery technique for obtaining information that contributes to a successful, working relationship and best results for our clients.

We thought it would be interesting to ask our team, who spend their working hours improving other people’s homes and living spaces, to share some of their ideas of what they consider important in a home. We asked them the following question:

 “Imagine you’re building a home today for yourself and your family. What are your must haves/must dos?”
