First, we provide you with both design and remodeling services under one roof. Our clients greatly prefer this, and we think you’ll agree, because our being your single source of accountability lends to better communication and better project management.
Together, we are a team. You’ll join our professional designers and builders as we develop build-able plans that address all of your needs and work with your budget. We assist you in making the
selections that will work for you and your family, both functionally and aesthetically.
Your needs come first. We listen to your vision, review examples of styles you like and discuss the possible scope of your project. And we describe how we would approach your project. When you choose to proceed with us, we enter into a Design Agreement and begin the first phase of design.
The first phase of design is Preliminary Design. We further define the project scope, budget, and timeframe. Zoning or other requirements are addressed in order to comply with local agencies. You begin the product selection process, which may include visiting showrooms with one of our designers. Conceptual sketches and floor plans are developed, as well.
The next phase is Design Development. Many of your design selections such as flooring, wall colors, appliances, and cabinetry are completed. We draft floor plans and elevations and further revise the budget based on quotes from subcontractors and the design selections. A work schedule is drafted based on your desired timeframe for the project. We present you with the design plans for your approval and we schedule your construction.
We have consistently been pleased with your attention to detail from the framing forward. One of our priorities in the beginning was to finish the project in the projected time, and we were very happy to have that occur. We feel this was due to your vigilance.

During the Construction Documents and Specifications phase, we finalize all the design elements of the project and develop the documents necessary for construction. At the completion of this phase you have final plans, a final budget and a final work schedule.
In the Pre-Build Preparations phase our Project Manager (PM) becomes the designated and dedicated manager of your project. The PM manages the construction, informs you of the construction process, and addresses any questions or concerns you have throughout the project. We obtain the necessary permits to build and perform any pre-build activities. We then move onto the Build phase.
During the Build phase, you and the PM meet on a weekly basis to discuss progress and upcoming steps. The PM also insures that the work area is kept clean and that the home is secure during the progress of work. At the end of the project, the PM walks through the project area with you and addresses any questions you may have.
